Polar Insulation Thermal System

Layers of foam insulation and reflective foil work together around the cabinet to help reduce heat loss. From the walls and corners to the floor, the Polar Insulation Thermal System helps your spa maintain its water temperature.

Inside the cabinet wall

  1. 1

    Weather Guard panels

The outer cabinet panels form the starting point for the insulation system.

  2. 2

    Foam and bonded foil

Polystyrene foam and bonded radiant foil add an outer thermal barrier.

  3. 3

    One-inch interior panels

Foil-faced polyisocyanurate panels fit between framing members to further limit heat loss. Reflective surfaces help reduce radiant heat transfer.

Exploded wall concept. Components and spacing are simplified and not to scale.

Insulated corners

High-density polystyrene panels help reduce heat loss at the corners, where framing can create a path for heat to escape.

A protected base

A moisture-resistant polyethylene floor with radiant foil helps protect the base while supporting heat retention within the cabinet.

Wall, corner and floor components work together to help retain warmth.
