The QCA Pure Water Management System works automatically, like cruise control for your spa. The high-flow system filters over 30,000 gallons per day, running four hours twice a day.
How it works
- Purge cycles start automatically and move water through all of the plumbing, pushing stagnant water through the filter.
- The vortex skimmer pulls surface contaminants such as body oils and hair into the filter and encourages full use of the filter.
- Safety suction fittings pull debris from the spa floor up to the skimmer, for floor-to-surface filtration.
- On models with an ozonator, filtered water passes through the ozonator and a Mazzei injector that splits ozone into thousands of small bubbles.
- QCA's Mineral Purifier cartridge uses silver ions to destroy bacteria and algae.
Built for easy filter care
The top-load filter lifts out vertically, so trapped contaminants never drag back through the water, and it takes up less room in the spa. Each filtration system is sized to the spa's water volume, jet count and flow rate, so a single cartridge keeps replacement costs low. Filter cycles are controlled by Balboa electronics.
