Shell

Multi-layer Dura-Bond acrylic construction built for strength and a long life.

High-strength acrylic shell construction

Our shells combine premium acrylic surfaces from Plaskolite or Aristech with a reinforced ABS backing for added strength and structural integrity. The shell is further strengthened with Isotec Acrylobond HD ISO and POL materials, high-density structural polymers engineered for durability and rigidity.

This reinforcement delivers strength comparable to traditional fiberglass, with a cleaner, more consistent manufacturing process and a reduced environmental impact. The result is a solid, long-lasting shell designed to hold its integrity, comfort and appearance for years.

Dura-Bond shell construction

Three layers work together as one engineered shell: a premium acrylic surface, reinforced ABS backing and Dura-Bond structural reinforcement. See how it compares with traditional fiberglass construction.
